Engineering Facilities Tour
Join us for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Monash University’s cutting-edge engineering facilities. This guided experience offers a glimpse into the innovative spaces where education, research, and industry collaboration converge. This is where our CDIO philosophy comes to life.
Participants will be divided into groups on arrival, to ensure an immersive and interactive experience at each location. This tour is a unique opportunity to witness firsthand how Monash University is shaping the future of engineering education and innovation.

Visit this dynamic ecosystem that bridges academia and industry. The Innovation Labs house advanced manufacturing and analytical laboratories, providing a collaborative environment for startups, researchers, and students to develop and commercialize new technologies.
Monash Engineering Design & Build Studios
Step into the collaborative studios where our engineering students tackle real-world projects. These studios are also home to the CDIO 2025 Academy students, who will be working on their multidisciplinary challenges throughout the conference. You’ll have the opportunity to visit and see their work in action during the tour.

Estimated Travel Time: Approximately 50 to 60 minutes
1. Train
From Flinders Street, Melbourne Central or Southern Cross Station, take a Cranbourne or Pakenham line train to Huntingdale Station. Trains depart frequently, with a journey time of approximately 30 minutes.
2. Walk to Bus Stop
Upon arrival at Huntingdale Station, exit the station and follow signs for Huntingdale Bus Interchange. The bus stop for Route 601 is directly outside the station.

4. Arrive at Campus
The 601 bus drops passengers at the Monash University Bus Loop, which is located in the heart of the Clayton Campus. From there, follow directions to Woodside Building for Technology and Design.
